The tooling design is determined by the component shape and specification together with the quantity requirement in order to ensure the most economical production methods commensurate with tooling costs.

These tools are all manufactured in-house and are usually small with only one or two cavities.  They are designed for simple operations and therefore offer significant savings compared to conventional fully automatic tools.  Their simplicity also means they can be produced quickly in weeks not months.
